M. Komaraiah, CEO of SHALIVAHANA GROUP is a man of vision, extremely disciplined, pragmatic and persevering. No challenge was ever too great for him and the many accomplishments that distinguish his long and notable career contributed greatly to the prosperity of Shalivahana Group.

After completing his Bachelor of Engineering in Civil discipline from the Osmania University, Hyderabad in the year 1983, he ventured into the business of Real Estate. With his trademark visionary zeal, he founded Shalivahana Green Energy Limited, (formerly Shalivahana Projects Limited) a flagship Company of the group. Under his dynamic leadership, the company made a mark for itself and executed several notable projects, some of which are highlighted below:

Never one to be content with one business, M Komaraiah transformed Shalivahana from a single business entity into a group of companies called Shalivahana Group, with interests in different business segments like Power Generation, Construction, Education and Distillery.

His strong commitment to break new grounds saw the Group set up a 6.00 MW Biomass based Power Project at Mancherial of Adilabad District, one of the most backward districts in Andhra Pradesh. The project created job opportunities for the locals and transformed their lives as well as the area's landscape, for the better.

Apart from being a strong visionary, M Komaraiah is also a strong votary of offering affordable and sustainable quality education to students. His society, Pallavi Educational Society started Pallavi Model School at Hasmathpet in the year 1994.

Affiliated to CBSE, the school has established itself as a premier school with a total strength of about 2500 students. Over the years, the school achieved several landmarks like 100% success in Class X with highest percentage of 1st divisions, etc. Its students true to the school motto of "Building a total personality of the children” have not only acquitted themselves creditably in academics but also earned laurels in the field of sports and extra curriculum. M Komaraiah is also the Chairman of Balaji Arun Educational Society, which holds the franchisee of Delhi Public School, in Mahendra Hills and Nacharam.

He, as Pro-Vice-Chairman of the Management Sub-committee (DPSS) has made a substantial value addition to the brand "DPS, Secunderabad, Mahindra Hills / Nacharam Campus".

A Philanthropist at heart with a strong record of serving various social causes, his long cherished embryonic dream of a charitable Society has come true in the form of Shalivahana Foundation which is imparting apparel training with suitable job opportunities to the number of women of BPL families.
